New Vegas wasn't a Bethesda game, it was an Obsidian game. The experience you were craving was Obsidian-like, not Bethesda-like. That's valid, but Starfield is a Bethesda game, not an Obsidian game. Totally different kinds of games, appeals to different gamers.

It's already pushed to 11th most modded game on Nexusmods of all time, and will be in the top ten in a couple of months. The only reason it's not top 10 already is Skyrim takes up two slots.
The modding scene is huge, active, and friendly. Come join us!
