When Democrats get back into power, there's no need to be punitive towards rural voters, but rescuing them from the consequences of their bad decisions should be low on the list of priorities. If they want hospitals and functioning infrastructure, they can start voting Dem.

Her manhandling his corpse for the 'Gram was extremely unsettling, notwithstanding that grief does funny things to people.

It's almost like you should just do the right thing morally and let the political chips fall where they may.

My understanding is that once you reach half a billion in net worth, there is no point to further wealth accumulation. You have generational wealth that can be passed down several generations, you have multiple mansions, no experience is off limits to you. You can't improve your lifestyle past this.

Any “radical” change involves eliminating the filibuster and getting the buy-in of people like Fetterman. The alternative is to simply ignore the Court and put the onus on them to enforce their rulings.

I’m guessing you need a national environment of D+10 for the Dems to have a chance at winning a statewide race in Texas and the spread between the two is probably not that large in that case.

The next Dem President needs to make it very clear that they'll ignore rulings they don't agree with and utilize any and all tools at their disposal to make their professional lives hell.

I don't have anything against Jasmine Crockett personally, but I worry she's not the best general election nominee because she's a bomb-throwing type of pol and Texas as an electorate might be hostile to a black woman. They need someone with broad appeal.

As someone who used to dress up to fly and then endured a really long layover and my checked bags not making it to my destination, fuck that. I want to be comfortable. Now it’s joggers, graphic tee and a fleece pullover if it’s cold at the destination.

I’ve had success with low-level IT troubleshooting when I don’t have time to do a deeper dive. Same with household tasks like replacing T12 fluorescent bulbs that I don’t do often. Treating it like Wikipedia is a little trickier, I find it making factual errors on stuff I’m a subject-level expert.

Same thing happened at TCU. It’s a legitimately better academic institution as a result of Gary Patterson putting them on the map and attracting a higher caliber of student. Football program’s success turned into money for other parts of the school.
