Bear with me: still moving things over from the bird site. Kinkster, Dom to @lawsomepup, switch, queer as fuck. Previously @subbastien at 🐤site. They | them.
In a cultural conflict, signaling matters. You can see the impact on individual, private action just from Trump winning in the upswing of violent acts against trans people in 2016 before even assuming power. And that’s just a simple example. There are so many objective differences in outcomes!

T, if it helps you to understand, the person you’re responding to regularly shows up to protests for them, contributes money to their aid monthly, lobbies their friend networks, votes for candidates that speak out for them at cost to themselves, and contacts their representatives on their behalf.

I don’t think I should have to say this, but no, rabid hatred and apathy are in fact not the same. (Apathy is not an appropriate description, but even if it were, there is obviously important distinction between those two things, and society with each in power looks different, as we clearly see.)

Flipping your ballot and voting YES on the NYC charter amendments will help enable NYC to build more housing, modernize, and bring more voices to the table in future elections.

If I have infinite capacity and I place a ball at the top of a ramp, it’s not because I’m generously tolerant of slow ramp rolling, it’s because I want it exactly that way, the start and the arc at that particular pace. So why “patience”? Why the tone of sufferance in general? 2/2

I think about this occasionally, so I’m curious to have your take:
To have created time in the first place—the mechanisms of change—suggests a desire per se for that arc. 1/2

The cause comes first. We take what’s left.

I think James is correct here.

Not too bad a result, folks. ^_^ Nicely done.

Mostly, yes. There are some.

I mean, these are fair points. But I have yet to see you get adequate veg into a bagel.
June 3, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Too much disrespect is bad for you. We’re just helping you be a good brat.
June 3, 2025 at 4:41 PM
I don’t recall asking anything, rabbit. ^_^ 😘

Too disrespectful, doggo. Punishment will follow.

Pickles are an insidious way of life. If you invite them in, you may yourself end up pickled. In legal terms, it’s called “opening the door”.

Of course they are! See, @lawsomepup.bsky.social , SOMEONE gets it!
