tonight's bowl, I rush cooked dinner because a friend surprised me with a visit to drop off my secret Santa gift from our shared hobby group. And I couldn't send her home unfed.
I think I did it all in an hour? Garlic soy sauce chicken, snow peas w/ ginger, instant pot potatoes + fennel beet salad.

While in Seattle I met the most Seattle old radical hippie you can imagine. He's peak keep it weird Seattle. Does not drive, doesn't have phone or internet, yard covered in signs. I passed the vibe check and he stopped by my God mom's place to give me a book on the union strike of 1937 and a shirt.

Frankenstein is an extremely visually rich movie, and a delight if you are a sicko who loves art history visual metaphor and historical anatomy studies.

I got some of those momofuku noodle packs as like "easy" meals. but then counter productive to that i cooked tofu crumble and boiled an egg to go with the spicy soy noodles. Tofu was seasoned with garlic, soy, white pepper, sesame oil and some chili crisp. Also garden green onion. #stevieskitchen

Random street encounter, I didn't call him out on the fact LA'S general comic conventions are all done for the year. but I did get a little nerd offended when he called my bag doll a labubu or lafufu.

it's "I will never know peace season." Binx has very demanding cuddle and laptime requirements the minute LA hits 65 degrees. I have things to do that aren't holding a 9lb cat

part 2 of refurbing my 1946 featherweight sewing machine. Grease! and proper cleaning wax and shine. Bonus since I'm an artist with a steady hand and thanks to my dad who worked as a sign painter in his 20s. I knew I could buy gold enamel paint to touch up the decals.
