A huge milestone for the #RhinoFertilityProject! We’ve received new rhino ovarian tissue, crucial for developing fertility preservation techniques to save the Northern White Rhino.

Emmerson Teas, a DPhil in our lab, attended the Cold in Biology and Medicine - 2025! She presented her exciting research, giving insights that explain why delaying cryopreservation improves follicle survival, with potential metabolic adaptations that might enhance fertility preservation techniques.
