Mum, head of comms/content, digi-geek, gardener and swift watcher. Finding solace and wisdom in poetry and nature. Says “content” and “pillars of democracy” a lot. Lucky to love what I do 💚
When Left and Right move towards the same extreme point to finally converge in everything but colour and name, you know chaos is unfolding ⭕️

We have a recipe but the ingredients aren’t easy to find:
Self-sustaining communities (localism)
Reduced consumption
Cooperatives & mutuals (balanced economy)
Strong labor (withdrawal possible)
International solidarity (peace & reduced globalism)
Justice, Equity, Emancipation...
Add own seasoning

It’s late here in the U.K., please help me out… He has ‘searched the depth of Legal Argument not yet articulated…’

That’s like saying: “I changed the diaper on an unborn baby and I’ll be presenting my own irrefutable diaper in the near future.”?

Deep 💩

Didn’t try too hard, did they? Scant attention to detail, far too eloquent.

Of course! Sustrans - a great charity. I need to open my eyes a little more to what lies beneath.

Interesting. They’re not well buried on Thorn Lane, as you can see. These were the first I’d ever encountered, although I’ve enjoyed walking many abandoned lines in various places.

If I head there later I’ll get a better pic. Both roads rise up to small mounds where the tracks are. Are remaining tracks unusual?

The track is much harder to discern on street view but it’s there on the parallel Church Side too.

He’s bringing the big policy solutions again then! 🙄

Wow - the Osprey sound fabulous! Very lucky! And you’re right, many humans rarely look up or think about our lives as part of a beautifully intricate and delicate system. All praise for those who work to conserve and educate.

I’m sorry you lost the martins, v sad. These birds are so undervalued. We have swift in our roof every summer - and I’ll make sure that future repairs maintain their spot. But I won’t be here forever. I’d be 💔 to see them arrive back & not be able to nest - they’re so loyal to their own nooks

It’s someone whistling as they work or meander that I love to hear. A dying skill and pleasure, I suspect.

And extend that to Tony Benn’s Signposts and Weathercocks 🌹

Are they old enough to remember when Labour had a moral compass?
