Is there a modern, simple Linux commandline sandboxing tool (ideally not requiring root, selinux or any other fancy privileges) to run a program with only stdin/stdout access? For example -- if I want to run some image conversion tooling on untrusted uploads?

I think I'm getting better, but I think maybe I've also been lucky, or am going to experience a difficulty gradient further up the ladder, since the stats sites say this deck has ~%55 win rate whereas it's been nearly 70% for me so far. It's certainly exceeded expectations!

I am probably old fashioned, but running into an open source commandline tool written in C that "requires" meson and ninja to build, in order to accomplish the equivalent of...
$ gcc -o tool main.c -lone -ltwo

With the new season of Fionna and Cake airing, I've found myself watching some old Adventure Time episodes, first to refresh myself on Huntress Wizard lore, then just to revisit some old favorites. Wow, "I Remember You" (S04E25) still hits so hard. What a show. #adventuretime #fionnaandcake #tv

It is amazing the differences in the ease of getting questions on RP2350 boot and debug answered quickly and helpfully as just some random guy on a social media site vs the experience getting support from Qualcomm while doing Android kernel/systems lead stuff at Google.
