Last night in Inner Sunset I witnessed a waymo stuck in front of 2 N Judah trains for about 15 minutes, stranding riders trying to get back downtown during the power outage. Honestly can't think of a more emblematic representation of the impacts these things have on our city.
Waymo has halted service in San Francisco after numerous videos & images showed its autonomous cars snarling traffic during the blackout.
With traffic lights down, Waymos across the city stopped dead in their tracks at intersections.
