Ah cool, I haven't seen those. And yeah nailing the slide and accent behavior is the main thing for sure. But some other things that come to mind is: * some soft saturation in the filter feedback gives a more "analog" sound * the square wave becomes more of a pulse at higher pitches

Yup higher rates are a win overall, 192k is great if you have the cpu cycles. One thing the SS filter doesn't catch is that the 303 filter loses passband gain when resonance is turned up, about 10 dB in total. So that needs to be compensated for.

Is the issue that they provided a version tuned for chat? Seems fair to me, but should be labeled as such of course. I tried it on LMArena for some tricky code and it did really well.

Inflation makes all the numbers go up. In real terms, I believe 1999 is still the all-time high. But things are definitely moving in the right direction!
