situation etc, but we have enough other things to think about in the meantime. This also is very alter dependent however (me and wnb have a lot easier time at it than the teen alters who are angry at not being able to do things), and also can vary with sleep deprivation, headaches etc.

We sometimes also have repeated memories (in our case more about school, crowds etc, not sexuality), and honestly the only way to really deal with it is to focus on something more concrete, that is disjointed from these memories. Obviously it does sometimes settle in how it is connected to our life

more theoretical and "constructive" (although only in a dialectical-destructive sense), so we don't know if it's at all interesting to you, but we thought it would be good to at least put the link here, we would def. be interested to know what you think of it. ifpp.plural.institute/pip1/8_en.html

Hello, we got this via email (also how we found your account today), and found it very interesting; and it reminded us of a rant we wrote about a year or so ago, on this idea of sociality and "understanding each other" etc, which we now translated into English on this occasion. We know it's a bit /1

Is this some sort of deep reflection on your user name becoming a statement or did we get that wrong? xd - sesh

We actually did buy a basic sd player a while back but didn't find enough time to sort everything in our playlists into a good folder structure (much like with our ebooks, which are also a catastrophe), but we def plan to do that at some point since local storage is clearly superior for availability
December 8, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Modern streaming services make us want to return to local storage.. like the only one we're using is basically just looking up stuff on youtube cause it's free, but if we had more time we would actually go straight back to just have mp3's on an sd card.

This does work really well if you own more than a 100$/€ phone that falls apart in two-three years and costs more to fix than to replace

(I mean, don't get me wrong, taking it in any way seriously was always ridiculous, but not getting it was a metaphor would be a new extreme that would be very funny and sadly believable)

Woah, you skipped back to being 18 after remarrying? That's impressive.

That needs to be the name for a series of 1970s video game glitches (if they existed)

I mean they need to check how many fingers fit, so they just decided to do it in the place named for that, makes sense.

Misreading this as "red eye" and imagining someone letting chat pick their future eye disease is definitely a special type of mental experience.

Like, yes and no? In a weird way we can enjoy our own repulsions, it's a very strange meta masochism that we don't quite understand ourselves, it definitely doesn't help figuring things out. But we do think that that's different to a straight up repulsive experience.

Actually, the nailing usually happens to the extremities as a whole, not their parts.

different bodies, and could communicate on a need and want basis, not on a "what could give us a panic attack" basis. It's really not easy keeping up with all that stuff constantly; as much as we know it's necessary, it does really limit us too. - Diot

Oh yeah, it's so cool I have to share in my other headmates anxiety responses and can't go places bc of it!

Like seriously, I do like being part of a system, bc otherwise I probably just wouldn't exist bc I don't front that often, but it would be soo much more convenient if we all would just have >

only pure functions well behaved, or functions composed in some simple way from pure functions? It really depends on what "construction" refers to here. Would for example:

int iter() {
static int i = 0;
return i++;
}

be "well behaved" under your definition?
December 12, 2024 at 11:50 PM
I don't think I quite understand this definition, I think. For example: is any runt time function that is not self modifying well behaved? It is after all in some sense constructed (compiled) before running, and as long as the binary doesn't override itself, it doesn't depend on the input. Or are

Actually, since we can agree gender is on the whole pretty irrational (be it fun), it disappears almost entirely on rational points, making it actually totally discontinuous over any given interval.
