The other thing I'm part of that's happening in Wellington this week is an art exhibition exploring the lived experience of #women #leaders in #politics, #journalism & #academia who encounter #online #misogyny and/or #racism.

Some 147 countries - 2/3rd of UN members - now recognise the State of Palestine, including Spain, Ireland & Norway, which made announcements in 2024. Those choosing not to formally recognise a Palestinian state are now in a small minority, including Australia and New Zealand. This is inevitably leading to calls in those countries to change positions.
