My late ex sat on a jury for a couple of officers who got caught in a glory hole sting. He didn’t like having to do that. Not long afterwards he went to law school. After law school, he refused to apply for a JAG position because he didn’t want to prosecute cases he didn’t think were crimes.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the JAGs defied an unlawful order to prosecute?

Dude. Same.

But she’ll get a pension for life.

It may be a mistake to go out with a period piece as a first sample but I don’t agree that it’s a mistake to write one. All writing can be good practice and learning. Timing when to take what out can come later.

I read an explanation of why Justice Jackson likely agreed to the stay. In doing so, she’s pushing a decision instead of letting it languish. She also prevented the worst five from overruling her outright.

It’s giving big belt buckle (small peen) vibes.

He’s embarrassing.

Double Amen to that.

Interesting how the guy said they’re with “the county sheriff’s department” and not LASD. #LASD needs to publicly acknowledge those “officers” as their own or admit they’re working with ICE.
