@elizabethemay.bsky.social should know perfectly well that the IPCC tells us meeting Paris Agreement targets is *impossible* with Carney's fossil fuel expansion Major Projects, no matter what empty promises he made.

Specific wording is vital in legal documents like laws. "Will" is a requirement. If a law says that a government "will" do a thing and they don't, they are in breach of the law and there may be consequences. If a law says that they "may," it's a voluntary suggestion without consequences. 🧵1/

The guy who lost the election isn't who you need to focus on. Holding the people who won the election to account is the vital requirement. So why are you constantly talking about the loser without mentioning that the winner's delivering the same policies?
