For those of you muting certain names in your feed yet looking for some other news to read, I took my 2 dogs to the vet today and while they are both healthy one of them has "love handles" and allergies. A picture of the chonk in question

One of my favorite things about my town is they let the kids paint the downtown shop windows twice a year, for Halloween (little kids) and for Pride month (older kids). This my library's window this year, and I hope it encourages everyone and opens some hearts and minds

Things seem bleak on the horizon. Or even currently. There is always hope though, and I say this not as a Pollyanna but as someone who loves learning about history. People have a way of refusing to do evil things and disrupting evil plans. Also here is a picture of my dogs

I wasn't home to sing to my dogs while they took their allergy meds so my husband had to do it. He sent me a photo of their unimpressed reaction to his vocal stylings
