And finally The Voord Alliance by @andr3wsmith.bsky.social - a nice end to this little arc with the War Doctor and as a big 60s Who fan it's nice to encounter the Voord again, especially being used in a different and interesting way

It's also a shame not to have Veklin in this set when the previous set was starting to make her relationship with Susan much more interesting, but hopefully that can be followed up on in a future release

The Last of the Kaleds by David Llewellyn on its own is a good story and makes good and interesting use of the time war concept but I do think I would've preferred the War Doctor's appearance to be a one off in the previous set

The Golden Child by @anghelides.bsky.social is very up my street as a political story and it's interesting to hear Susan up against a Doctor she has a much more difficult relationship with. It's also sweet how full of praise Carole Ann Ford is in the interviews of Jonathon Carley (and rightly so)

The Lost Son by @sarahcassidy.bsky.social is... possibly my favourite episode of the whole series? Definitely Carole Ann Ford's best performance, and properly getting into the aftermath of losing Alex in a deeper way that hasn't been done before.. beautiful stuff

I had forgotten the ending of this set referring to a potential meeting with Rassilon, as much as I love the next two releases I do wish this had been followed up on... maybe Susan's War 4? 👀

The Shoreditch Intervention by @senrabnala.bsky.social is such a lovely bringing together of classic and new Who. It's always nice to hear Susan interact with the 8th Dr Who (let's just ignore what was said in Legend of Ruby Sunday) and their history in the 8DAs makes their interactions so rich

Assets of War by @lmorgan.bsky.social is a perfect showcase of what I love about this series and what can be done with Susan as a character - I love her morality shining through and her connection with the Orrovix. I also love that this ep stands on its own without relying on elements from TV eps

The Uncertain Shore by @0tralala.bsky.social - an intriguing story and the best use of Veklin so far, really enjoyed her interactions with Susan. Interested to learn from the Wiki that the Anti-Dalek Force are a pre-existing thing, always fun when old obscure bits of Who lore are pulled out

still alive given so often they let characters die offscreen when their actors have died.. but lovely to think of the two of them still together after all that time. A perfect love letter to the best era of #DoctorWho to start the series off
