We’re also working on a version of this course with no programming, for those that just want to explore ethics in tech at a starter level with their students. Bonus is that it helps incoming undergrads develop a literacy and critical reflectiveness about interaction and information online!

information/entertainment skills are so different now to 20 years ago. like food pre/post industrialisation of the food supply.

the skill used to be: finding & storing so that you had enough. now it’s often: selecting from a vast selection that contains a lot of junk. & knowing when to stop.
