Yet this was the 1st I’d encountered her. The cover flap informs us: “Harrison’s contributions to the artistic and political life of Dublin have previously been overlooked and she has become one of the forgotten women in Irish history…this book reclaims Harrison through the story of her work& deeds”

That market operated from the 17thC through the early 20thC when street sales were banned at that location due to the opening of the Iveagh Market.

I’ve actually had the date marked on next year’s calendar for months! I hope to learn more about women involved in acts of civil disobedience on the cusp of the passage of the Street Trading Act. Thanks for the update.
