“The study originally predicted that climate change would trigger a decrease in global income of 19 per cent by 2050. Revised analysis now puts the figure at 17 per cent.” Only 17%. Well that sounds fine. 😵‍💫

Didn’t know your comment was about Trump. He’s nearing 80 and old. No surprise he’s nodding off.

It’s time for him to go, not just for that, but because he’s a cruel madman.

My trick was to doodle. I learnt zen tangles to keep me awake when I was a passive attendee. I also brought snacks for everyone and put them out halfway through the meeting or if I saw someone else starting to drop off. Overhead fluorescent lights and airless rooms are the main problem.

Clearly you have no clue what it’s like to sit in a meeting in which you are a passive attendee, not an active one. In an airless room. After lunch. With flickering fluorescent lights overhead. When you didn’t sleep well the night before.

With 18 cases per million, it’s a challenge to do robust studies. Nevertheless, there’s certainly been intense focus on looking into it as it also occurs with some non-MRNA vaccines.

The occurrence of myocarditis after COVID infection is 2-4 per 1000. So it doesn’t change the risk/benefit profile.

The worst trend on TikTok is fake doctors (wearing scrubs and calling themselves “doctor) who are not, in fact, doctors at all, or who are AI generated.

And they could do this to her again tomorrow. And the day after. Or the day after that.

Because they felt like it? Because a disgruntled patient called in a false tip? Because someone across the street pointed in her direction? The idea that anyone is safe is now bizarre.

The bane of my existence is having to take the dog out every morning. We have acres. He could take himself out. But, no, he won’t relieve himself unless he’s on a leash and gets to walk off our property. I have taken him out in the pouring rain in my PJ’s many a time. He seems ungrateful.
