'There was a damn silly bird called a Phoenix...He must have been first cousin to Man.' - Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451

Spending more time in the garden.
Dodging the bailiffs more like.

I looked it up on the RHS website because I was intrigued.
Apparently the moss isn't harmful but could be an indicator that the tree 'lacks vigour' so it is an effect rather than a cause. Sections 3 & 4 of the article are most relevant. 👇

For the 'potting' shed perhaps. 😄

Yes low vitamin D also causes fatigue and low mood similar to SAD.

I miss plain brown cardboard boxes. Everything I get is covered in coloured ink, which I believe is not good for the soil. 🤔

I can't take it due to medication I'm on. Wish I could as winter really gets me down.

Ooh thanks for the tip. I'll try them next time I'm looking for something. I've already ordered 2 of the books you recommended from WOB.
(I'll probably share my thoughts on #Booksky once I've had a chance to delve into them.) ☺️

I thought you had to be over 38 to have a Bluesky account. 😉

Not sure they understood the instructions to 'build modern houses with the 'privy' indoors'. 🤔

😱
No pollen, no bees.
No bees, no trees.
No trees, no me(s).

Actually 'horse's doovers' iirc

You're not related to anyone from the S. Devon (UK) coast by any chance - are you? That was my Dad's name for them. ☺️

My cyclamens ran out of flowers but I think they're getting their second wind. ☺️

I thought about edging my lawn with stone/gravel but then thought my old lawnmower wouldn't thank me. 🤔☺️

I buy all my books from charity shops (or the online 'World of Bks' though wouldn't recommend anything less than 'very good condition' from WOB.)
It also helps to be related to someone who works in a charity shop who 'looks out for stuff'. ☺️

He is not her son. She doesn't have to.
Though if I were in her shoes I'd be telling his brother not to provide him with free luxury accommodation.
A min wage job mucking out stables & a one bed house that he has to pay rent on would be more appropriate.

After uni I had to leave home to find work.
I lived in bedsits & house shares for many years. Some quite grotty because it was all I could afford at the time.
You'd have to cook & clean for a lot of households to pay for board & lodging in one of them imho.

I know it's common but - yellow.
I have primroses and forsythia and 'possibly' this year... tete-a-tetes. ☺️

My word is 'productive'.
I've spent the past few weeks not 'allowed' to garden following eye surgery. Very frustrating as I have a couple of pruning jobs I want to do before the 'budding' starts in earnest.

I'm pleased to see that some of my Mum's bulbs which I rediscovered buried in pots at the bottom of my own garden a few months ago are showing signs of life. Looking forward to finding out how many are not tete-a-tetes. 😀

I think he should face multiple charges of misconduct in public office in a UK court first.
I have more faith in UK justice than in US 'justice'.
