I played the game and I can’t wrap my head around why it would be banned, it’s relatively tame and I don’t see anything problematic with it, on the contrary. Like you said, there are so many games with sexualized underage girls on Steam that make me much more uncomfortable.

It’s really an awesome game!

For sure, I didn’t mean that 2D translates automatically to a smaller game. Silksong is the proof to that. But a team that created multiple 2D games might take more time to create a 3D game of the same scope the first time. And their game design strengths might not translate as well to a 3D game.

I'm not sure pivoting to 3D seems a good idea. It didn't work out well for Heart Machine. Hitbox Team was working on a 3D game after Dustforce and it seems abandoned. Staying smaller and working on one "smaller" game at a time seems the safer bet.

I had the same reaction reading the article ahah

I have a “video not found” message

Maybe you can find ressources on color theory, graphic design in general. I’m not on expert on the subject unfortunately. But the colours feel off to my eyes and seem a bit random instead of being coherent.

I think that the part that would improve the visuals the most is reworking the color palette.

Indie game really has no meaning if it includes Clair Obscur, it just becomes a really poorly defined genre that could include anything under the sun.
November 13, 2025 at 6:04 PM
I agree with your take, I always found it weird to include games like Obra Dinn and even a game like Animal Well seems more in the puzzle metroidvania with some metroidbrainia elements than a pure metroidbrainia. And how could they forget Toki Tori 2, the OG!

The same reason I would insist to keep the genre name Walking Simulators :D

And it’s already snowing here :’(

Winter is my nemesis, but I live where it gets at -30C. My feet and hands are always cold and I’m uncomfortable in winter clothes.

The best show since Severance!

Miyazaki confirms that From Software next game will be one giant poison swamp.

I speak French, so I wouldn't know for English speakers, but thanks for including the ligature in the French localization!
November 4, 2025 at 1:15 AM
I much prefer without the borders. Also, did you consider having the œ ligature for Œuf?

You could also add the Gen AI industry to the list, the amount of bullshit Sam Altman and ci say is astronomical.

I will buy it and wait a bit to play it for the bugs to be ironed out, I still have a game to finish before. But I’m very excited for this!
October 27, 2025 at 1:13 PM
Ahah, I feel you, I didn’t know it was a thing until my kettle wasn’t working well anymore.
October 27, 2025 at 1:07 PM
The Séance of Blake Manor probably!
October 26, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Whislisted! Everyone not French will have trouble pronouncing the game :D
October 25, 2025 at 8:13 PM
It was on my radar, but your review might just be what make me buy the game! I'm a fan of time-loop puzzle games since I played Outer Wilds and a smaller game after Silksong will be welcomed!

On the other side, what are the non-toxic communities that you love? Personally, I like the Thinky Games community, they are really accepting, helpful and passionate at the same time.

What I find weird with all the discussion about Silksong punishing difficulty is that I feel like every week there’s a new roguelike that is 10 times more punishing. Spelunky has hours-long boss runback and it’s too much for me while I loved every second of Silksong.
