The number of local law enforcement who would call the Law Enforcement Support Center to run the immigration status of some with a Puerto Rican DL was a bit concerning. And there isn’t enough shaming or repercussions for that level of ignorance in LAW enforcement.

The number of cops I’d casually hear talking about “you might beat the charge, but you don’t beat the ride” when I worked dispatch wouldn’t surprise you, but would definitely shock most ordinary citizens, I think.

I love reading news like this, despite studies continually showing that adding more lanes makes traffic worse, not better.
