Yesterday evening, I was honoured to attend exhibition talks "All Spice Michael Rankowitz and ancient cultures" organised by the Acropolis Museum which gave us a brief overview of the history of the region we now call Mesopotamia, and history of archaeological research.

The Annual report meeting of the Danish Institute at Athens was organized at the Acropolis Museum - Μουσείο Ακρόπολης last week which was really interesting to learn about the latest works done by the institute and connect with many interesting people

i attended by the Greek Archaeological association in Athens on Thursday, on the earthquakes and disruptions caused by the volcanic eruption in Santorini thera in the 16th century bce. It was organized as part of the Minoan and Cycladic seminar series.

Finally, on Friday we also attended the 36th Annual meeting of The Norwegian Institute At Athens at the Acropolis Museum is an institution which which gives us a greater knowledge of the current programs done by the institution, future steps and the keynote speaker had an interesting topic to hear

On Tuesday alongside my team of Excavate in Greece i attended the lecture organised by Diazoma and the ephorate of antiquites in Preveza about the project to restore the ancient roman theatre of Nikopolis, archaeological remains found and the current usage to stage performances.

Yesterday I attended the lecture Mimetic tradition engaging artists with greek poetry organized The Norwegian Institute At Athens which was an interesting talk about how poetic lines would be using direct speech as an artistic innovation and choral dances would help in audience engagement

Yesterday I attended the Islands between palaces, Mycenean civilization revisited organised at the British School at Athens this talk was really interesting as it shows possibility of a more interconnected aegean in the late bronze age period and invites us to go deeper into Dodecanese islands

Yesterday we students from BAAG Program attended the essentials of clothing yarn and jewel industry in the paleolithic world lectures organised by theUniCrete the first talk given by Professor Olaf Joeris about Paleolithic clothing - hard soft and artistic evidences, where we went all over Europe!

Yesterday, we students from the BAAG program went to visit Kykladitisses: untold stories of the Cycladic women, an temporary exhibition at the Cycladic museum. The topic and themes chosen were interesting, however there felt to be a constant discord between the exhibits, which dampened my enjoyment.

Last week,I was fortunate to participate in the 2nd India Greece international conference held in Thessaloniki at the school of theology Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The 2 days were filled with great networking sessions and informative talks on a wide range of topics!

Yesterday i attended an interesting lecture organised by Papyrology program NKUA on Aristophanes and later reception in antiquity, and was really interesting to learn about the sentiments of romans, using both textual and papyrological tools. thanks for inviting us!

On Thursday we had an interesting lecture at the Norwegian institute on the activities of SapienCE institute and their concluded excavations in Cape town region of South Africa during the paleolithic period and discussions were held on human connectivity and shared understanding during this period.

Yesterday was an wonderful celebration at the Herodion of Atticus for the 200th year death anniversary of Lord Byron, It was organised by the Philhellene society and museum, it's remembering Lord Byron and other 80 philhellenes who contributed to the independence movement.

Wednesday we had the 3rd annual meeting of the PAIAthens organised at the @efathenes with a keynote lecture by Dr. Christopher hale it is truly warming to hear all the wonderful work the institute has done to bring discussion with students, academics from Greece and Poland!

Today was the celebration of the 10th International day of Yoga- yoga for women empowerment organised by the Hellenic Yoga Association and the India in Greece at The Gardens of Zappeion megaron! I personally really enjoyed the day!! 🥳

On Thursday our students from the BAAG Program visited the Athenian agora, it's small museum with our professor Dr Sofia Anizeri where we were introduced to the structures of the athenian government chronologically and the inscriptions associated with them in situ.

Yesterday evening was a wonderful lecture at the Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies at Athens - IIHSA about the reports on the decade long excavations in the Minoan site of Koumasa in the mesara. Many important details were discussed on this day!

Yesterday evening the Aegeus Society was held at the British School at Athens and it was a full house! The esteemed professor talked about the current research and opened a space through his discussion on terminologies to decolonization of Aegean prehistory and greek Archaeology

Yesterday was an informative lecture organised by Polish Institute on the motifs of Dance seen in Attic Geometric pottery. The lecture was focused on (pottery) to bring it closer to the tradition of Chorus, Line and circle dances and how the community interacted with it.

On Saturday, our BA Program in Archaeology took us on a class to Mycenene Tirnys and Nafplion with our professor Vassilis Petrakis explaining us the Mycenean bronze age and their burial customs through it's monumental Tholos structures. It was a wonderful day for me! Loved the classes

On Tuesday evening i attended this really interesting lecture at the Swedish Institute at AGRS series about Spontaneity of Athena by Prof Susan Deacy whose initial theories were presented. I'm really glad that past year i have been able to attend lectures like this and have been noting them here
