caption poem is from enrique gonzales martinez, it’s supposed to be an allegory for ceasing the empty exaltation of classical aesthetics typical of the modernist literary period in latam but I thought it was a great metaphor also for what this piece is supposed to represent

inspired by people saying armand looks like verrocchio’s david on tva, this is clearly a recreation of caravaggio’s david but think of it as a bit of a mix of both
