I re-watched Limitless just recently! I like it.

Did you catch the TV show, continuing the story arc of the movie? I liked it, so of course it got cancelled after one season. Everything I like gets cancelled.

Just saw the NPR report pop up on my phone. Some good news. It said “dismissed without prejudice.” You think they’ll try again?

I’m class of 92 too! I went to an all women’s college in New York, and even better it was a healthy mix of all different races, religions, and sexual orientation. It was safe on campus. We had “rape whistles” and self-defense classes. But off campus? At work? Crazy times.

Conditioning. About 5 years ago, I heard a mom with her young daughter, greeting a visitor. A man. Apparently he wanted a hug and kiss from the young daughter, and the girl did not want to—that’s when I heard THE MOM scold her, saying “I thought I was raising a nice girl, not a MEAN girl!” WTF lady!

Miss Machete! This post reminded me of this essay I wrote back in the first season of Stranger Things. In it, I pose the question, and then show examples, of how The Thing ends and Stranger Things picks up the story. Check it out! It’s on my Gen X blog.
