Rolled credits on #EternalStrands. Congrats to @yellowbrickgames.bsky.social on a spectacular debut title. Great characters, dense world and sublime music. Well worth picking up if you're looking for a new game to play.

Honourable mention to #DragonAgeTheVeilguard. As the first title in the series that I've played, it managed to introduce me to its gorgeous world and its large cast of characters. Even more impressively, it made me care about each of them too!

1. #AstroBot - you know that ache you get when you are smiling too much? I got that multiple times playing this game. The imagination, love and care the developers put into this title radiates from every aspect of it - level design, music, visuals - like the pure distillation of joy that it is.

2. #PrinceOfPersiaTheLostCrown - this is probably the best game Ubisoft have managed to release in a decade and the way the game and its developers have been treated is appalling. If you have not given this game a chance yet, you owe it to yourself to try it. Magnificent, top to bottom.

3. #Helldivers2 - after loving the first game, I was desperate to see what Arrowhead could do with a bigger budget. I waited impatiently and got a stone clod classic in return. This is the most fun I've had in co-op all year and I plan to be spreading managed democracy for some time to come.

4. #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth - after the excellent Remake, it was a tall order for Square Enix to surpass it... and yet, they did. A huge, varied open world, a growing cast of captivating characters and a score that blew my socks off regularly, this had me chomping at the bit for the final chapter.

5. #StellarBlade - a stunningly beautiful game with a great combat system and shiny butts. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, from start to finish, and hope there is more coming from Eve in the future.

Finished up the second DLC pack for #AvatarFrontiersOfPandora this weekend. Enjoyed the world of this game and liked that both DLCs expanded on that. Hope they are working on a sequel.

After #GhostOfYotei was announced, I decided to replay #GhostOfTsushima. It's an outstanding game of course, but I forgot how sad it is. Not just the main quest, but the side stories and incidental scenes you come across.

With #DragonAgeTheVeilguard just over a week away, it's time to start thinking about some important questions...

...like, who will we all be boinkin'?
