Also Jon Hamm is so dialed in when Adam Whitman shows up. His fear is palpable. And also Don sucks so bad!!! I was going to say he’s almost a sociopath but actually he’s just so so selfish and so good at compartmentalization.

Tonight’s Mad Men conversation was about Pete Campbell and how he sucks! His wife is too good for him bc his parents are rich assholes who raised him to be jealous and petty. He had aspirations though! He wants to be creative but no one ever let him so he sucks at it.

Literally spent all morning trying to figure out the structure of VITA tax prep sites to explain to my finance dept bc they want a special kind of insurance thing from all partner orgs in our buildings when we’ve never done that before and this little old IRS lady is telling me she can’t get it. 🤯

I really love Spectered Isle and I’ve been so sad she’s never returned to that series. Otherwise it’s definitely the Magpie Lord and a Seditious Affair. Oh, and I always almost forget Think of England but there is one scene in that one which might be my favorite she’s ever written.
