Unfortunately, it seems that Americans are not very good at making sure there are consequences for clearly illegal actions…what were the consequences for the 2020 election interference and the January 6th attempted coup? Have any Epstein victims had justice? It confuses us in the rest of the world.

I don’t trust Trump for a second…he’s smiling too much, so chances are he is up to no good. If I were Mamdani I would be very suspicious and watch my back. 😬

I wish this was true, but many of you are fast asleep and don’t know/care what is happening. I’ve tried to bring up topics with my American in-laws (loss of women’s reproductive rights, the attacks on the Latino community, the demolition of the White House, etc.) and I’ve been met with silence. 🤐 😓

Yes it is barbaric. I wish more everyday Americans cared about this issue. I’ve tried to discuss it with my American in-laws, who I previously thought were good people, and they avoid even discussing it. They are instead interested only in superficial pursuits. I am so thankful to be a Canadian. 🇨🇦

American corporate news is horrible. I get better news coverage of about the US, and I live in Canada. 🇨🇦 Even for the huge No Kings protests. This is why our Canadian conservatives are so desperate to get rid of our public broadcaster - so they can wield the same power over the media.

I’ve been hearing all about “checks and balances” from my American husband, who grew up learning about this in school (I’m Canadian). Will the Supreme Court do its job and finally manifest this idea? Because the Constitution is just a piece of paper unless it is put it into action. 🧐

Do you trust the US to come and save us if we are threatened? Do you trust that they will not be the aggressor themselves? NATO is on shaky ground now that the US is unreliable at best. The world order has been tipped this year, and not in our favour - pay attention!
