The position’s responsibilities include the preparation of documents necessary to run an independent writer’s residency, as well as online participation in literary events including readings and workshops. All applicants must be local to the greater Knoxville, TN area.

In 2024, she was an intern at Red Room Poetry, assisting in publishing over 5,400 nature poems; a tree was planted for every poem published. Her debut collection of poetry, màthair beinn, is out now with Vagabond Press.

This part-time internship would consist of approximately 5-10 hours of work per week and run from January 1st to July 5th, 2026. All applicants must be local to the greater Knoxville, TN area.

She holds an MFA from the Ohio State University and a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston. She currently lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she leads online poetry workshops. You can find her on Instagram @dr_paige_quinones.
