I have never realized Seven Samurai was that long. You really don’t feel it. Unlike like the current trend. If you do it well the audience won’t notice. Else - it gets tedious

Zenkuro in New Zealand makes acceptable sake. I buy sake kasu from them more than I drink their sake though.

Actually I’m starting to imagine a nativity scene along the lines of the infamous Easter bunny nailed to the cross with you in the lead role as Mary, but with you telling off the Three Kings or something.

Instead, I regularly brought in some for myself in the autumn, winter and spring when I could keep it reasonably cool for the flight. (Used to be carry on only!)
Today I’m leaving Tokyo with 3 bottles packed in my checked luggage to enjoy at home (now in NZ).

Back around ‘95/96 I had the idea to import 生原酒 to the US but gave up rather quickly after researching how complex importing and distribution is (I should have kept my focus only on California instead of thinking multi-state). And the cold chain was far to $$$

I just asked the マスター and he said this shop had been going for 50 years. And he thinks this building will still be around for a long time. I really hope so!
