feels like LAT ownership doesn’t want a functioning newspaper. ranks of journalists of color had already been decimated in big round of layoffs last year. and overall, our union now has fewer than half the number of members it had in early 2023.

X now basically allows endorsements of killing of journalists.

Palestinian journalists should be protected as humans, period. But western journalists should also have known that normalizing the killing of journalists abroad would have ripple effects.
