Her death comes exactly 15 mths after my father’s. Together again at last.
I was able to do various things long distance, & will be hitting the ground running with the sadmin etc from tomorrow.
I certainly didn’t have perusing coffins and floral tributes on the beach down on my holiday bingo card!

Sushi is -obviously- banned from the work surfaces when we are around.
So somewhat shocked by this.
However, as he is stashed in the kitchen when we're out, this probably happens a lot more frequently than we think!

Visited a café at a local fishery which we pass regularly on our travels, but have never been to.
Fantastic breakfast rolls: 🥓 and black pudding for me, 🥓 and ketchup for K, in a crusty Morton roll. (Iconic Glaswegian product).
Fishing lake very still.
Very cold bright day.

A trip to Troon earlier. Showers and dark skies on the way there, but dry and bright on arrival!
A lunch of probably the best fish and chips we've had in 🏴, (scampi for me!)
Saw the catamaran heading to Arran, and a consignment logs arrive!

It was a recently opened shop selling Kurdistani baked sweet treats.
He was allowed to try a couple of things, and came home with 2 different types of little cakes, one (spiral) with a date filling, the other a walnut filling.
Very tasty!

Could hear the dulcet tones of a robin singing his heart out.
I looked up to see the wee fellow perched on a sign.
Although as I walked around the store, others to be heard singing away too!
And it's not even 1st November yet, but 🌲🌲 already available!

OH travelled to Oslo earlier for a work meeting.
Returns Friday and heads immediately to Manchester for an evening event there with potential customers.
Won't be back here until early Saturday afternoon.
