And as more players get injured, it puts even more stress on those who are healthy. A vicious cycle.

Expected because Alavés has moved their left-back higher up the pitch. It stresses our high defensive line because Flick doesn't opt for a low block.

Our forwards would then have to score on a counter or hold up play in 1v1 duels. They did but very late 😂, with Lamine free.

I think it has been more about precision with the final pass rather than playing too passively.

Yeah, his passing is very good. I think he will be a fine option against mid table teams this season.

Yeah, perhaps although I am no physio and it didn't look like much. If there's an issue, I hope one of the coaches is able to fix it.

I agree and she tends to hold onto the ball a lot, but this looked very innocuous. A regular challenge, but somehow, she is injured.

I differ from your opinion here because I think Barça have already been left behind with rival managers having adjusted and Flick cannot recreate the performances of last season. Unless he adjusts and improves.

I would be happy to be proven wrong.

I don’t care about Arsenal but I do want my team to be ahead of the curve and look like a serious contender. My fear is that Guardiola will implement a better version of whatever Flick is trying. Although I am not a fan of the heliocentric version of City around Haaland.
