This is close to me so we are already working with the Quakers and the local lefty groups to get people rides and help but if it's happening here y'all out there need to be spreading the word for other at risk people in your community to prepare

It's Sunday and it's actually starting to be under 80 f here so I'm making a big pot of chili, this week I've made fontina cheese and prosciutto stuffed chicken breasts with a cacciatore sauce and Vietnamese grilled pork tacos. I'm cleaning out the freezer!

I am so embarrassed to having to do this but I need 600 for a surgery to happen on 10/31 for my severe carpal tunnel on my left wrist as well as a ganglion cyst that's gotten too close to my artery

My latest fixation! These are of course figs lathered with balsamic glaze which I will roast and then cover with honey and serve with goat cheese and crackers. You should make this. It is so goddamn good.

By the way got a surgery at the end of the month so if I'm quiet it's just that

Been cooking today. First up I roasted some jalapeño and shallots and garlic in olive oil and salt and blended it up with some chicken stock for a sorta sauce the kids like to put on stuff

Then I made a meatloaf and fried potatoes but I forgot to take pics of that and then I made a raspberry
