Retro game disassemblies/research and Megadev, a Mega CD SDK. Occasional posts about life in Japan.
(I know Sega Retro has a scanned copy, which I'm grateful for, but it's just too low resolution. I'm looking for a 600 DPI scan of just one page, really.)

(also I'm not an inkscape pro, I just did a trace bitmap and fixed up some points, improvements are most welcome.)

It's much better than the one on Sega Retro, since that one lacks many of the flourishes, such as on the small r and s.

Well I didn't expect to be making a high quality vector of the old Service Games logo this morning, but here we are.

Both of the Sega documents on that page are absolute treasures! I think that is the highest quality version of the logo with the owl that I've ever seen. And the "crazy logo" parts catalog has some beautifully detailed images of the machines. Thank you!

Give me an official hoodie with that old logo on black! Give me official art books from old games with things we haven’t seen before! Give me official corporate history books with rare photos!

Like, I need to be clear: I love Sega but I have zero interest in any of their IP in its current state or in any of their console releases. They have a long, long history that they can tap into that ubernerds like me will pay $$$ for. But instead it’s always the same predictable rehashed garbage…

Shows how little I know about Nintendo :V

No, there’s some manuals as well, but the disk count is still substantial (26 disks, while the commonly available online version of PC98 Win3.1 is only 14 disks…)

Win 95 and 98 as well, on the later Pentium models

Oh man I had an Indus GT with my 800XL as a kid, that was a sexy piece of hardware…

I loved buying a new Hobonichi Techo every year……. And then I would completely stop using it around February or so, so I stopped :(

About 20 years too late, I fear

Doesn’t match the model 1 aesthetic, unfortunately.
