That’s so true. Policies that make it harder for refugees to reunite with their families don’t stop migration they only make the journey more dangerous. People will always try to be with their loved ones, even if it means risking their lives.

Exactly. Childcare and asylum are two completely different issues, both important in their own right. It’s strange how some try to pit them against each other instead of addressing each with the seriousness it deserves.
