In general and all AI is being lumped in as bad when in reality it’s not really new to games. It’s the aspect of AI replacing human creativity that we should be focused on not if AI did boring tasks that no one actually wants to program. It’s a big swing either way and it seems that’s not thought of

Feeling alive. There’s a lot of small tasks that AI can do that make a game feel more alive and those are (to me) acceptable uses of the tool. What I’m not comfortable with with using AI for voice actors or art or the more human creative pieces of a game. I think there’s a misunderstanding about AI

I’ve been mum on the subject but I agree. There’s a lot of games that use SOME type of AI. Have for a while too. It’s not hidden at all. Like AI is used in games with combat all the time to design enemies movement etc. it’s used in games with NPC’s to have them move along paths to keep the game 🧵
