Building a new system for Philadelphia and beyond. All aboard!

Trains here. Main feed: @m.pahuski.com
A, B, C, and D trains are mostly done in Manhattan and the Bronx! Really glad I planned ahead in a few spots, it was a nice surprise, because things are getting tighter.

B Division in progress, and holy cow I did not like this part where the B, D, F, and M all split up. Took a lot of tinkering, and I do not care that it's not quite accurate.

best part of sandbox mode is putting all your routes together at once and letting those ridership numbers rip

And here it finally is, the whole IRT/A Division.

Debating if I should build the Newark and Hudson-Bergen light rails before doing the B Division.

Step right up and greet the Mets

Bronx done, and I'd like to wrap up the IRT today. Brooklyn and Queens are unavoidable now.
February 7, 2026 at 10:14 PM
Still have to finish some lines in the Bronx, but I was impatient and wanted to test everything. Here's a trip to Brooklyn on the 5 train.
February 6, 2026 at 6:59 PM
Manhattan done. I was insanely relieved when I got down to City Hall and remembered that the crossings to Brooklyn were already figured out and finished
February 6, 2026 at 5:29 PM
Going to finish out the IRT in the Manhattan and the Bronx before moving onto Brooklyn, so here come the 4, 5, and 6. Kind of amazing that those junctions really are more or less built like this
February 6, 2026 at 4:05 PM
Heading downtown on the 2 train.

Plenty to do, but it's going to be really nice when finally done.
February 3, 2026 at 4:45 PM
After doing this on and off yesterday, I have a newfound appreciation for just how far north the city goes.

Done with the 1, 2, and 3 in Manhattan and the Bronx. Debating whether to head to the Brooklyn sections or start on the 4, 5, and 6 the same way
February 3, 2026 at 2:23 PM
Finished the 1 and the Manhattan part of the 2!
February 2, 2026 at 4:37 PM
Never mind, that's everywhere on the island, really.

I didn't plan to do the three extra lines and two tunnels here, but probably worth it to get them settled in now
February 2, 2026 at 3:31 PM
feels like Midtown Manhattan is going to be just a constant effort to not block myself in down the line
February 2, 2026 at 1:43 PM
Wasn't totally sure what to start with on the subway part of the NYC save, so it might as well be the original section
February 2, 2026 at 1:13 PM
Cheated by four-tracking both tunnels. I'm going to build the 2nd Ave Subway eventually, so clearly I dig unrealistic scenarios.
February 2, 2026 at 12:31 AM
Not attempting to recreate the actual beasts that are the H&M tube junctions, but I'm still cooking up something hideous of my own here.

Here's a good example of my transit tastes: starting a NYC sandbox save with the PATH
February 1, 2026 at 9:29 PM
they saved a ton a cash by using existing freight rights-of-way, but looking at it from this angle makes you really wonder what things would have been like if a subway line ever got built down Archer back in the day
January 5, 2026 at 4:13 PM
had to try the new custom routing, not sure if I'm committing to a rebuild or something totally fresh
January 5, 2026 at 3:45 PM
I promise to not build anything else on my side of the Delaware until South Jersey finally gets some love. Just can't decide if I want to terminate in Camden/go over the Delair for something more realistic or find a nice spot to tunnel under

Here's the current overview of the network

Been a while and I need the distraction. Guess we're getting the Norristown High Speed Line done today. Might four-track the MFL while I'm at it, too.
January 3, 2026 at 6:37 PM
got the full route done. no through-routing possibility at the moment, but it would be very easy to unite the 101/102 and the Girard Avenue line. next up will be squeezing in the NHSL
November 16, 2025 at 7:50 PM
This afternoon: finally getting around to the Red Arrow trolleys, then figured it might be worth it to also extend the Girard el to 69th, too. Need to plan everything out well because the Norristown High Speed Line also has to fit in. Also thinking about the old Red Arrow Route 104 to West Chester.
