This takes me back to the Pynchon reality I’d been missing! Bleeding Edge was my first read by him back in 2019, and this continues with the format of short, punchy chapters, but within a Milwaukee gumshoe story (so far).

I’m utterly absorbed and can already tell this will be in my top five reads of the year. I bought this edition because I liked the forgoing of “A Novel” on the cover.
