We just finished applying for some funding for our game, Elemarum.
The goal is to make a video game version of the board game next year. We've done a lot towards it so far, but we really want to ramp up for it next year!

Gotta remind ourselves that big things start small... We're finishing up the Lobby menu for connecting players online for Elemarum's demo. It's all placeholder art right now, but those numbers on the left are proof that we are connecting online!

Did a little photoshoot for Elemarum: The Archmage Trials, in preparation for some videos we'll be putting on the website.

When developing Elemarum, the physical board game is crucial for understanding the digital game.
The board game was designed a mind towards digitising it in the future.
It's really starting to pay off.

We would always recommend prototyping your video game physically first!

We love dialogue systems.
Elemarum will have extensive dialogue, with players making choices, changing the game.

Will you play Ajtain and Hanuverik as the best of friends? Rivals? Bickering found-family?

Whatever your choices, they are going to matter.

Moxie fixed up and simplified the detail on one of our symbols after feedback that it was too dark and hard to see.
Can you tell which one is the original and which one is the improvement? (here is hoping it is obvious!)

After attending Games Ground, it has never been clearer how we are going to share our stories.
There were so many people I met and spoke with. It really felt like I was with my people.
I definitely plan on attending next year!
