When she was born she basically had no lungs, so my fear was always she might smoke. She hasn’t turned out to be the type that is in the slightest bit interested in anything like that, but I’m still blown away that no-one is.

She knows of people that smoke cannabis, and she knows people who vape.
But she doesn’t know anyone who has ever smoked. That’s incredible to me.

I meant internal government politics tbh.
So the rumours of reshuffle, whenever they have arrived, have Nandy top of the list. I thought something like "she's convenient to reshuffle, looking like they're doing something because something is better than nothing when in crisis" or equivalent.

This is all weird to me because Nandy was someone who I'd always thought "obvious front bencher, probably reliable hard-working figure" and I have sort-of been shown slowly that that assumption has no basis.

This morning's selection of her comments and lack of knowledge are like the opposite of what an effective minister does/ knows.
It's the reason I had a lot of time for Gove. Always always always knew his brief and met people, even when combative.
