I figure this would get the job done. Might be a little short, but I think a properly stubby cannon will help separate it from the classic MBT. I'll have to trim the hull lascannon down a bit too.
It also mostly oblivates my need for sponsons, although there are 2nd ed ramifications there too...

Ah but that's exactly what I want in my servitors! I grew up with them looking like this. The jumpsuits are essential!
The overtly zombie nature of the Tech Thralls is the part of their design I like the least.
If anything, I'd say Zombies are more generic and widely available to stick mech-bits on.

Yeah I am liking how this is going so far. Still got a lot of armour plating and detailing to do and some structural work on the conning tower and propeller and stuff, but I think it's shaping up pretty good.

I have several full sets of the old Creative Gamescapes spaceship corridors in an unassembled pile to one day have such a thing of my own (not my kit, not my pic, but this is the stuff I have)
It's on the list for this 40k 2nd Ed project, but it's not high on the list. Maybe it should be tbh...

As I start the new year with 2nd Ed Eldar, I have begun work on a custom vehicle design.
The Eldar Dragonfly is a light transport designed for rapid insertion and redeployment, trading some armour and armament of heavier transports for acceleration and maneuverability.
