I fell asleep to this last night, but it was fascinating up to the point where i lost consciousness! Will need to try to pick up the second half. Resisted the temptation to snuggle down in the duvet and start saying ’postman’!

That 12” of 2 Tribes was great. chilling even with Mr Brittas narrating most of it. Is it the best 12” ever though? Does it have Stealin’ as a b side?

@vickymackenzie.bsky.social finished your book this afternoon. So beautiful to read, so well balanced. I live about a 10 min walk from Julian’s church - could picture the streets so well. The line about the cabbages when Margery is travelling to Norwich made me laugh!
