UK emigrant. Finally binned British passport to avoid saying: 'No todos somos racistas en reino unido' (we're not all racists in the UK but 52% of voters in 2016 probably were). UK's key challenge? Stop Reform's fascism. Almost vegan.. but cheese 🙄
Michael Foot's 'donkey jacket'.

It's normal in the UK. Zinoviev Letter. Blair going to Murdoch for permission to be PM. Angela Rayner's tax.

I don't know what that means. Who will triple match it and why?
December 1, 2025 at 2:16 PM
"I will level with you" Horrible phrase for a politician to use. Better to say: "I've told lies in the past but now I've decided to tell the truth". If that's what you mean.

You mean they weren't thinking about the future when they voted in a referendum about the future? Probably sums it up perfectly 😐

His comments are interesting because he's obsessed with appearance and cultivated a persona on the screen? Shame on the UK for giving him the headline but at least we didn't vote him in to office. Twice.

Far be it from me to question the word of God but your grammar is mangled. Why do you switch to the once plural form? You need to say 'Thou shalt not pretend that thou art at war'. Disappointed in you God to be honest. I thought you were all-knowing. Just trying to help. Please don't strike me down.

Has the Telegraph really renounced Brexit? Don't they think it was just implemented badly because of Labour and anyway economic disaster is a small price to pay for sovereignty?
November 30, 2025 at 8:47 PM
This serves to endorse the often-abused six-month 'probationary employment period' often imposed in the private sector. Better employers have tended to go for three months or less but looks like six months is the standard. Even Labour says so.

If migration fell to a dozen would they be less angry?
November 27, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Probably not even that. I don't think the numbers matter to him or his supporters.
November 27, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Everyone's worse off financially but with net migration much reduced it's the end of anti-immigrant sentiment and Reform will pack up and remove their flags. Farage to confirm this in a keynote speech on all channels. No?

They'd get half a million complaints. From Murdoch and GB News followers who've never heard either station.

Well I wouldn't want to see comedy compulsorily prefaced by "the following is meant to be funny". Shakespeare is being meta when he writes "All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players" but you can't be subversive every time.
November 25, 2025 at 8:11 AM
This wouldn't work because the thing with satire is approaching suspension of disbelief. It would be like someone going on stage before a play and pointing out that it's just a stage. I mean you could do it but it would be a bit shit.

"Employment Rights are dangerous" "Human Rights are dangerous" "The national minimum wage was dangerous" "Trade Unions are dangerous" All ©️ the Conservative Party.

He really couldn't think of anything else to criticise this government for?
November 23, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Yes but at the same time 'He's just like one of us' 🤢
November 21, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Before I quit Facebook I was stunned by the number of 'We Love Boris' groups and by how busy they were. Not all bots I'm sure. Something in the British psyche about enjoying seeing a posh boy they can relate to?

Men with nothing but confidence and their advisors with nothing but confidence. At least the UK is rid of those particular ones. Other nations are very much in the grip.
November 20, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Being criticised by media reform campaigners matters. But not as much as it getting viewed by more than twenty million people.
