And the cherry on top is that if you switch to "List" view, which makes "Most relevant" smaller so they don't need the "Latest," the option to switch back to the grid view is removed and you can only do so by editing or removing cookies.

What the heck happened with your ability to UX, Google?

I'm going away from the recommendations and algorithm awfulness on the Home page for a reason. I don't want it!
But then you add similar bullshit to the one place that's stayed basically the same since YouTube was created and make it harder to use without a way to opt out.

Usually just lying in the couch watching lots of movies, some rewatch, some I'm mildly interested in but not enough to watch otherwise.
Depends on if fever is high enough I can't think enough to watch or play more engaging things.

By the sounds of his post, I wonder if he removes safety-guards from construction worksites also, to make people break bones so new talent can come in and take their place every once in a while.

What the actual fuck is this line of thinking

Underwater breathing would have to come from somewhere I suppose ^-^
I like this idea

Probably not the only part in the lyrics that isn't true. An entire stadium of people deciding to sing a new anthem together would be amazing

I'm not sure I've seen any single grading system that has worked well. It usually ends up being like

"I had a minor issue. [Lowest score]"
"It was decent. [Highest score]"
"It was the best I've played but nothing can be perfect. [Highest score - 1]"

Flu making me miss the holidays here. Yay for health! Watching it on TV instead from the couch.

To a better year: 🥂🎆🎇

Clinging onto the bright spots as best I can. Results vary, but it's all I can do to retain the sanity left.

Hope things are not too dire for you personally, even if things around keep crumbling.

Will be thinking of you and awaiting your return, Mal.
May it be as swift and easy it can possibly be, everything considered.
And I guess enjoy the medication you'll be getting.

This same case annoyed me on a daily basis, I ended up having to just dock all the search windows to the main window. Which comes with it's own set of problems, but still an improvement since I switch between internal-only and multi monitor so often.

Holy heck, Mal. Sending you all the good vibes I can muster. Truly hoping for the very best outcome possible

I'd assume cookies but yeah maybe.

Would be nice if it was obvious when enabled, via a notice or label by the logo or something. So far that's the only change I'd like to see to it.

God yeah mass panic over unknown things is great.
Or they just forgot that they enabled it, or someone on their computer, since it's saved by computer and not by account apparently.
Would definitely like to see a bit more than "this option exists" before complaining.

The option has also been there since 2010. I'm not sure what's caused people to be against it now all of a sudden.
