Ed Zitron has his critics but it was good to see him jump in this thread & push back on this. Call me a doomer but it really feels like the economy (both including and outside of AI) continues to go full grifter mode

Appreciate you saying it. I enjoy the Celtics and wider NBA not just as entertainment, but also escapism -- that I would argue is much-needed in this moment -- but I would not fault the league one bit if they shut it down in light of what's happening. (For better or worse, I don't think they will.)
