Lie #4: In a Patreon post on August 3, 2023, in her words "I am also aware that this is solely my own issue and I cant expect other people to just carry this load or suffer the consequences." Yet in her messages to me, she is refusing to take accountability and refusing to honor her agreements.

Lie #3: In her words in a public Patreon post on February 26, 2024, "Turnaround time is still a couple of months, just so you're aware." This was posted 9 months after I paid for my commission.

The then responded that she should not have stated that she will provide a refund, because despite agreeing in a previous message that the artwork was incomplete, she does not provide a refund for "finished artworks".

This started a back and forth about who was responsible for the miscommunication that I was supposed to know I did not have to stay subscribed, which is written nowhere on any of her SocMed accounts. Then she said in writing that, despite agreeing to give me a complete refund, that was a lie.
June 6, 2025 at 4:46 AM
She also said that "If you are dead set on a refund, then there is little I can do here other than see to it that you receive it, though that might take a couple of days." I requested a refund again and she tried to convince me again to continue the commission so she could finish it.
June 6, 2025 at 4:46 AM
She started the exchange by admitting that this was a major ETA delay, a huge lack of communication, and that she intentionally refused to respond to me, which, in her words, was "unacceptable".

She has effectively held my commission hostage while collecting monthly subscriptions from me for 2 years. As of 5/10/25, I have paid $144 USD in monthly payments and €333.20 euros in the commission price itself. I have paid nearly $500 USD for a commission I will probably never receive.

She has repeatedly told her patrons that turnaround was “still a couple months”, while in reality taking well over a year to finish commissions (post from her Patreon, 2/26/24).

In summary: Tekstel is unable to be contacted for commissions related issues outside of her Patreon, which requires you have an active subscription to DM creators. Until recently, she could not even be contacted through Bsky.

I told Tekstel I did not accept the fix and sent the list of changes after she agreed to adjust. The last communication I received from her was 3/18/25, after which I reached out 3 times (3/24, 4/25, 5/2). Due to the continued issues with communication and the comm itself, I asked for a refund.

And her partner's hair, blue black in the reference photos and after Tekstel was given the Hex codes, was still incorrect:

the tattoos, which were present in the first commission, were now missing. less obvious are the lowered quality in the shadows and in the lines of the commission; It looks like Tekstel, instead of correctly fixing the coloring of her skin, used a fill tool and a filter (comparison below).

There were multiple issues with the “updated” commission: The face is far too angular, with too many harsh lines.

Receiving the “completed” comm made it very clear that my misgivings with the lineart were 100% correct; this was not my WoL. I brought up the multiple issues again with Tekstel and provided HEX codes.

It took nearly a week to hear back from her, this time with an “updated” commission:

I did not hear from Tekstel again until 3/4/25, where I received my “finished” commission. Picture says a thousand words, so here are two of my WoL’s references next to the completed commission I received, with an additional close-up on the face:

I got the adjusted lineart on 10/2/24, which the issues with the face are still visible. I provided some more references for the tattoos and scars, which were a big part of the commission:

I, again, did not get an update until 2 months later on 9/10/24, when I got my lineart back. I had quite a few concerns with my WoL’s face in particular and brought that up, which Tekstel reassured it was “something that would be fixed with shading”, which I, in hindsight, foolishly believed:

It was just vague figures then so the issues with the commission did not become apparent until later (images of me commissioning her and the sketch I received a year later below).

I forgot to add a reference lol. She:
