Oh my god yeah I had this exact issue before as well, it's why I only use the first version of the apple pencil, it is a pencil with one of the main selling points being for drawing stuff why does it not have the basic thing nearly every artist wants for digital art

The only Metroidvanias I've ever played were Hollow Knight and Silksong, but what keeps me invested despite the occasional navigational issues across the huge map is just that it's fun to go around, it's like how I treat walks in real life, going off the beaten path can be relaxing sometimes
