maybe I'm reticent to go because the last time I went to a studio party (dif employer) I had to hear some pretty racist dribble from a supervisor and I felt incredibly alone as the only (then) unemployed person in the group. Also, constant misgendering despite the big THEY/THEM pin on my shirt.
