I’m so glad the large majority of the coverage about the Bills has been “Sure, Sean being fired is fine, but Beane also needed to be fired for the trash rosters he put together.” And I hope Beane reads it all and it ruins his day.

I think it’s a massive ask to expect him, though he’s a superstar, to elevate players who wouldn’t be on a team otherwise, with an OC who can’t scheme up plays to play to their strengths and combat their glaring weaknesses.
For the sixth-seeded Bills to have had a shot to win this game, they needed Josh Allen to be a superhero.
It’s a massive ask, and as great as he often is, it does not appear to be a viable formula for getting a flawed team to the Super Bowl.

I think it’s a massive ask to expect him, though he’s a superstar, to elevate players who wouldn’t be on a team otherwise, with an OC who can’t scheme up plays to play to their strengths and combat their glaring weaknesses.
Josh was the reason they lost and the reason they were in it at the end. But ultimately not having even decent talent at WR, requiring meaningful reps from practice squad talent, and not having an OC who is focused on doing anything to try to maximize the lack of talent in the WR room is what killed

Josh Allen covers up a lot of issues for this team. There’s games that you can see they clearly, but when that dude is on a mission there’s few things that can stop him (and it’s usually his own receivers that do). I wish wins like this wouldn’t lull leadership into complacency, but they do.

At this point, there’s absolutely no reason the Bills deserve to be in the playoffs. They would get SMOKED by any team they play. This team needs a complete rebuild. Absolutely insanity to waste your star QBs time and effort to this degree.
