Tonight's turret meeting will be pretty awkward

The more I read about F1's 2026 technical regs, the more I think that if this was a video game I'd have second thoughts about buying it as there is way too much arseing about with settings, mapping, boosts, and the like. #F1

Can't run (arthritis), but having volunteered now at 61 park runs I'm tentatively thinking about starting to parkwalk a few. How do people find it? #parkrun #parkwalk

“Deepfake child pornography is fine as long as only adults get to see it” is a curious place for the modern Conservative Party to find itself, but here we are

Frankly, I think I'm more astonished that people are still on X.

Controversial opinion here, but I think I enjoyed the Stranger Things epilogue more than several hours of bombast before it, last scene in particular. #StrangerThings

Renee Nicole Good's murder by an ICE agent is shocking enough. The White House's outright lies in the face of multiple layers of evidence is shocking even for this corrupt admin. Feels like an inflection point.

Before moving to NI we lived in Rutland, and seeing the lunatic amount of snow forecast for there Thursday night, I almost wish we still did. *Almost*...

211/3 and players off for a couple of hours and counting for rain. Now that's proper test cricket. #ashes

Would like to say never in doubt, but scoring four tries in 20 minutes and then having to score the winning one in the 79th is one hell of a roller coaster ride from Bath. #BathRugby #Rugby

Final scores on the doors for UK parkrun cancellations: 309, with 226 citing 'weather' as the cause'. Some of the 'course unsafe or blocked' entries may also have been referencing ice and snow too. #parkrun

UK #parkrun cancellations now stand at 265 and rising.

Weather done for #parkrun volunteering this morning, so a two-hander of Galactic Cruise it is! #boardgames

06.30 and we have 181 #parkrun cancellations - including ours at Crawfordsburn - in the UK already. Respect to all those who went out late or early to check their courses. Would imagine the number will tick up around dawn.

Broke our course record with today's New Year's Day #parkrun, with 282 runners braving the forested hills and windswept beaches at Crawfordsburn. As I said to them from my marshalling point near the top of the hill, 2026 is all downhill from here...

Last of the Christmas games haul to make it to the table. I suspect Middle Earth may not survive, at least this time round. #boardgames

Bugger. First #parkrun cancellation of the winter. Ice on the Crawfordsburn course.

Setting up Covenant for the first time and at the entertainingly baffled stage. Never been more grateful for the idea to use a music stand for the rule book.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a test match like a TwentyT.
